Project Description

Narbonne, was once the capital of the largest Roman province in Gaul and a major sea port until its harbour silted up.  It is now a prosperous small city thanks to the wine industry.

At its heart you will find the beautiful cathedral of St. Just and the narrow lanes of small shops, with a covered market.

Also, the Canal de la Robine, transects the centre, linking to the River Aude, the Canal du Midi and the Mediterranean Sea.
